Space Cat Animation

For my Senior Thesis project I created “Space Cat”, an animation based off of real life Felicette, the first successful cat to be launched into space. In my version of this beloved cat heroine’s story, we see what her journey in space might have been like through a fantasy-driven, adventure-filled point of view. Altogether this project combines a use of storyboards, character design, and branding material; followed by a short animation reel of what is to come. As I continue to experiment with animation in my art, I want to incorporate more untold stories and invite viewers to also be inspired and explorative in the whimsical side of things.
